Customization

Customizing products is the best way to promote your company or event. Your message will be visible for a long period of time. There are many ways to place your design on our products.

What is vector artwork?

Vector art is your logo, saying or design re-created in computer language. By having your logo in a vector format, the design department is able to resize your design to the required measurements without the design becoming blurred. This is a one time chargeable task which is re-usable time and time again as long as the artwork is not changed. This artwork may be used for numerous applications for instance printing onto clothing, dry goods, signage and paper products, etc.

What is screen printing?

Screen printing is achieved by taking a vector artwork and with special chemicals transferring the design to screens used to apply ink to the product. Once your order is complete these screens are cleaned and re-used. For this reason, there is (depending on the product line being purchased), a setup charge per colour/location per order.

What is digitized artwork?

Digitized artwork is a special type of computerized artwork which allows your design to be read by sewing machines. Once this program is setup (as long as the design does not change), there is in most cases no other setup charges. There is a sewing charge per placement.

What is appliqué?

Appliqué is a combination of material and stitching used to create a design. This process is used to lower the cost of filling in a colour on some designs.

What is heat transfer?

Heat transfers are similiar to a decal. The design is printon onto a clear backing and then heat pressed to the product.
